God never tires of forgiving! We are the ones who tire of asking for forgiveness!
Pope Francis
John Muscat was born in 1984 and is currently the officer responsible for assessment of vocational subjects at MATSEC, University of Malta, bringing two decades of experience in education, Information Technology, and business administration.
A proud alumnus of St Aloysius’ College, Birkirkara, John’s secondary and sixth form education at this Jesuit institution instilled in him a lifelong commitment to be a “Man for Others”. The College’s emphasis on holistic development fostered in him a solid character grounded in discipline, compassion, and a relentless search for truth and justice. In 2005, John graduated with a B.Sc. Business and Computing from the University of Malta. He subsequently earned a Post‑Graduate Certificate in Vocational Education & Training from MCAST in 2011, followed by a Master of Business Administration for the Small Business in 2022.
Outside of his professional career, John is passionate about sound engineering. Whenever possible, he also enjoys expressing his creativity through graphic design and videography.
A substantial part of his spiritual journey was shaped through his experience in the Neocatechumenal Way. Living in community as part of this itinerary of faith, he discovered Christian life as being not ‘a state of perfection’, but a journey through which God’s love and grace prevail over our frailty and limitations. This experience deepened his appreciation of the Church as a whole, with each of its various members making visible the Body of Christ through their unique charisms under the guidance of the Holy Spirit.
John strives to see the human reality behind every person, recognising the hidden wounds each of us often carries. In the face of barriers created by our dependency on digital devices and social media – which ironically often hinder our true connection with ourselves and others – he encourages genuine human interactions, integrity, and honesty in all aspects of life. His commitment to truthfulness is central to his ethos, inspiring him to empower individuals to embrace their own brokenness, while supporting each other through the daily journey of life in pursuit of ultimately discovering and radiating back God’s transformative love.
